Walt didn’t have a great deal of money until his last years in life. – Passion and Enjoyment MUST sustain what you do.
“Leaving Tonight. Don’t worry, everything okay, will give details when I arrive.” – Walt had an imperishable optimism that allowed him to overcome failure, condescending critics, forclosing bankers, defecting employees, and fraudulent distributors. – Optimism and a positive attitude can help you overcome most all challenges
Know your strengths and weaknesses. The Walt Disney and Roy Disney business partnership is probably one of the most least talked about in business history, but arguably one of the most successful.
His foreman suggested “Walt, it’d be a lot cheaper if you built the tunnel straight. Hell, Walt Replied, it’d be cheaper not to do this at all.” Don’t skimp on the important stuff.
